- New to Narrowboats - and so far so good!! But could be better! Having reached the half way mark in life and the children have fled the nest, we found that lifes needs and wants and changed. We dramatically downsized to live on a nb. Hopefully this is a story of how we manage to adapt for a very comfortable middle-class (expensive)lifestyle to that of a pair of homeless river gypies.
