Hubs - in the calm before the storm
This is the hard part, taking the tiles of in order to make to old worktop light enough to move. This is the time for retail therapy and leave hubs to it. Might have to stay away for hours!!!! A girls got to do, what a girls got to do! I do hope he hoovers up afters (joke!!)
Ooh, you've changed the spelling! It was a bit of a shock when the old link didn't work -- so I hazarded a guess that the o and e might be round the other way!
At a junction in our lives, we decided to step back but not opt out. Moving from the 'normal' day to day grind, mortgage and other millstones round our necks - to a new life and new venture. After the first few days, reality hits and questions are raised. Day to day life brings new challenges but definately no doubts.
New to Narrowboats - and so far so good!! But could be better!
Having reached the half way mark in life and the children have fled the nest, we found that lifes needs and wants and changed. We dramatically downsized to live on a nb. Hopefully this is a story of how we manage to adapt for a very comfortable middle-class (expensive)lifestyle to that of a pair of homeless river gypies.
